It was in the ‘before’ times.

Before work-from-home.

Before advisor access restrictions.

Before, well, you know.

We did a survey in 2019 (aka ‘before’) asking, what motivates you to be a high performing wholesaler?

Back then, 47% said that money was their primary driver.

The comments included:

“Financial Independence motivates me. Not things. As I get closer to financial independence, more things that would bother me in the past just roll off my shoulders.”

“I like making money, and I am passionate about this business, latter creates the former.”

We were curious to know if that’s changed.

So, on 1/15/2022 we asked:

Maybe it’s because the game has changed?

Because of so much work still needs to be done virtually.

Because of the constant daily drumbeat of covid.

Whatever the reason, based on your answers to the question, something has shifted.
