No Excuse For This Excuse

The company’s founder was one of Fortune’s 30 Under 30.

Their website was gorgeous.

Their prices appeared more than fair.

Maybe it’s the season.

The crazy busyness brought on by folks doubling down on activity in a last minute push to meet annual sales targets.

Or, it could be a lack of time management skills.

Go out to Google right now and search for “People do business with people that they like” and then stand back.

You’ll find 1.25 million results, and there is a broad range of opinions on both sides of the argument.

Here’s what we know to be true: we can’t name one wholesaler who is at the top of their game that got there by being unlikeable.

We are glad to report that wholesalers are feeling fairly good about the praise they receive from their leaders.

And there is still room to improve.
