10 More iPhone and iPad Apps For Wholesalers

Since we wrote our first post (and added subsequent updates) there have a been some great new app developments – and some not so new ones that we have found ourselves using more often.

MileIQ – This app was recommended to us by a wholesaler, and we think it’s terrific. MileIQ automatically logs every mile you drive to take the hassle out of mileage tracking. Just install the app, start driving and let MileIQ do all the work while you focus on what’s important. No need to take out your phone, open the app, press any buttons, or remember to start and stop…just get in your car and go! MileIQ does the rest. IFTTT -lets you create powerful connections with one simple statement — IF This Then That. For example let’s say you want be alerted every morning via text what the weather will be: Or get final scores for your favorite teams via iOS Notifications:

Penultimate – The most natural digital handwriting experience on iPad, Penultimate gives you the convenience and feel of writing on paper with the added power and availability of Evernote. Take notes in your advisor meeting directly on your iPad AND have the notes readily available on Evernote. And just to up the holy cow factor, your Penultimate notes in Evernote are searchable. Does that mean you can search your handwritten notes? Why yes it does. And you’ll need to grab a stylus from Amazon.com to write most legibly.

Zite – We always say that great wholesalers are great students of the business, and we have demonstrated Feedly in the past.

If you have not tried Zite you need to.

Podcast app – We use this Apple app as the central repository for all the podcasts we listen to.

Add your favorite podcasts to personal stations that stay up to date when new episodes become available.

You can sync playlists from iTunes, or create an On-The-Go playlist to play just the episodes you want.

LastPass – Trying to remember passwords for all your sites is just impossible.
