Do you get dirty in the data?

If you have used the Wholesaler Masterminds Rotation Builder then you know it’s a terrific tool to assist you with the proper way to cover your territory so that you run it – and not the opposite.

[Update: A reader graciously shared a tool that he thought worked even faster than the one we demonstrated….and he was right! See screencast #2]

One of the important elements of properly constructing the Rotation Builder is to understand where, geographically, your reps are concentrated in the region.

By state, city, address, and zip code.

Until recently I thought I needed to purchase an expensive program to map advisors.

Silly me.

As always good stuff Rob. I’ve been doing this with http://www.BatchGeo.com

Their interface is even easier to use; you can copy and paste the data right into their website from any excel file. It also lets you control how you want to sort the reps e.g. production or zone. Their new iPad / iPhone app is a great addition, and their mobile website is nice for those who don’t want to purchase the app.

@Ryan I’ll be sure to give that site a workout. Might need to make a new video! Thanks

Glad to see you liked it! The site runs great native on the iPad through Safari, but I prefer the $10 iPhone/iPad app for the additional features.

Also for those who segment their advisors, add a column in excel for your “A, B, and C” players. Then you’ll have a colorful map sorted by producer type.

I started using this app earlier this year. Very easy. In fact, you can add notes such as AUM, Segmentation, team members, zone, etc. Just make sure that info is in columns on the CSV file. Share the link with your IW, DVP, scheduler. View it on iPhone/iPad.

Oh, looks like I have some additional exploring to do! Thanks Stuart.
