Too many years ago to count I was at a wholesaler meeting where our firm had enlisted the services of a then start up company to provide us with a look at how advisors viewed the firm and us as wholesalers.

It was at this meeting that I met Steve DeLano and Market Metrics.

Now Steve and his team have delivered a simply invaluable tool to assist wholesalers, and their leaders, in understanding where exactly the assets are located in each geographic region of the country – so as to leave no potential stone un-turned.

In case you are not familiar, Steve DeLano is a Principal of Market Metrics and is based at the firm’s headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts. He began working with Market Metrics when the firm was still part of Monitor Group during the early 1990s.

He has been President of Market Metrics since the firm became independent in 1996.

During the past decade, Steve has overseen Market Metrics’ growth from a niche market research provider to the leading firm in its field.

He received his MBA from Harvard Business School and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Williams College, where he graduated magna cum laude.
