Three hours that go by in the blink of an eye.

That was the sensation I had when I sat down for a discussion with Alan.

He is both a veteran of the financial services community and a member of the Speaker Hall of Fame.

And he related a story that deeply troubled me.

Seems a number of years ago an advisor requested a speaker from management to attend a client function.

Unfortunately the manager was unavailable.

Naturally, the suggestion was made for the advisor to use the more than qualified local wholesaler for the gig.

Sadly that wholesaler, in the eyes of the advisor, was already swallowed up by The Sea of Sameness.

What one thing can you do that makes it abundantly clear that you are not, nor will not ever be, just a wholesaler?
