When I Saw NotebookLM by Google

My brain just exploded.

Over the weekend I read about NotebookLM from Google. From their website:

“Upload PDFs, websites, YouTube videos, audio files, Google Docs, or Google Slides, and NotebookLM will summarize them and make interesting connections between topics, all powered by Gemini 2.0’s multimodal understanding capabilities.”

And while I’m still getting my head around it, check this out: I simply provided the URL of our Wholesaler Masterminds® website – and less than 5 minutes later a SIX MINUTE, two person discussion, “podcast” episode was produced.

In another test, we downloaded a PDF called “Top 10 Ways to Prepare for Retirement” provided by the US Dept of Labor.

Once the PDF is uploaded to NotebookLM, and clicking on Generate under Deep Dive conversation, the result is a 17-minute two person discussion about the points covered in the PDF.
