Today, nothing but good news.
I want to talk about when Untouchables become Touchables.
I’ve heard some really inspiring sales stories over the course of the last 24 hours and I want to share them with you.
Success Story Number One: Barron’s Top Advisor
This wholesaler thought, for all the world, that this Barron’s Top Advisor was completely untouchable.
Her assets under management and her profile on the community were gigantic.
Just trying to get her on the telephone was simply impossible.
One of the by-products of our lock-down is that she too is locked down.
He did his Advisor Reconnaissance, (and if you don’t know about Advisor Reconnaissance, learn more about it here).
Wholesaler did his Advisor Reconnaissance, picked up the phone and wouldn’t you know, she answered.
Now, she didn’t have her army of folks to screen out your call.
She actually answered.
They had a super productive discussion, and the wholesaler is very convinced there will be additional discussion to follow.
Success Story Number Two: Virtual Lunches
Yes, I bet some of you have done virtual lunches and virtual happy hours, et cetera, but in this particular case, this particular wholesaler did a virtual lunch and had two prospects assembled amongst the office.
Of those two prospects, one of those prospects dropped a $15 million allocation.
Someone that had not done business in the past.
Is business still being done in a work-from-home environment, in a lock-down environment, a quarantined environment, a COVID-19 environment?
The answer is YES.
Number Three: Supporting Small Business
This particular wholesaler is sending packages of food to advisors that consent to receive them.
This led to two conversations with institutional advisors that accepted a discussion where heretofore they otherwise had not been accepting discussions.
Wholesalers, I really hope you’re making the most of what’s turning out to be these unique opportunities tucked inside of what otherwise is a tremendously challenging environment.
That’s what’s on my mind.
