Wholesalers, repeat this mantra after me: I will repurpose content, I will repurpose content, I will re…..

Creating content that is new and original such as

-sales ideas
-email messages to advisors
-sales meeting messages
-one on one content
-lunch meeting messages
-walk through snippets
-branch trainings
-agency training

takes a ton of work, especially if you are recreating each message from scratch.

That’s where the repurpose mantra comes in – and it’s one we need to repeat to ourselves often here at Wholesaler Masterminds as we create blog posts, newsletters, coaching sessions and classroom coaching.

Here’s an example:

You get an email from an advisor that reads:

Dear Superstar Wholesaler:

I just wanted to let you know that the sales idea you provided for me the other day worked like magic. The way you tied the story about the inverse correlation of the Foonman Commodity Fund and the Foonman We’re Still Solvent Small Town Muni Fund was pure genius.

I only wish every wholesaler was as freaking brilliant as you.

Can’t wait for our next meeting!

Most wholesalers would file (or worse, delete) this after replying to the rep.

But, if you are thinking ‘I will repurpose content’ then you will use this same email for:

  • A quick note to your boss (you are managing your career, right?) that simply reads:

Yes, this was actually written by one of my reps – pretty great, huh?

I’d be happy to provide this idea on our next sales call.

  • A “Success Alert” blast to your Top 50 reps that says:

There’s no way I could make up this email.

If we have not yet discussed this concept using our funds we need to meet, soon!

  • The opening of your next advisor meeting:

Since everyone here knows that I am not beyond shameless self-promotion, I wanted to share an email I received this week and then explain how the concept works.

Remind yourself to repurpose – it saves time and energy, and it works.
